Can't teleport

I'm having a problem with teleporting. I'll try to go to another region and it will
take forever. So, then I'll hit cancel (or it will say "taking too long to teleport, please
try again), and I'm stuck in "flight"mode, meaning I can't do a thing from that point on -can't walk, move, or anything. This happened this afternoon and again this evening.

Anyone else having this problem?

logout and log back in a different region
had the same issues and logged back in at home and gave up

I've been having it off and on lately.

The only idea I have is to take off as many prim attachments as you can before teleporting .. hair, shoes, jewelry, etc. It gives the system less to have to move from one server to another and can sometimes make it work better.

If it doesn't help though, then all I know to do is relog.

Looks like they have not fully brought up the hardware.

I've tried logging off, then logging back on . . . same deal. I guess it's yet another glitch in the system.

I have similar problems from time to time..solution..select a random location and try to tp there..once there, try tp'ing to the original location again. If that doesn't work..try logging out..then in..and try again. The system's full of annoying little glitches like this..

Well, it just happened again. I was in totally different region, tried to tp, and it crapped out on me. I've tried random places, etc.

I guess I'll give it another go tomorrow. Tonight, I'm just sick of it.

Same here.Too long to tp no profile or notecard info showing,freezing in mid air.Sometimes if I can make it to another sim by flying I can tp again but mostly I have to relog.Even relogin can be a problem and SL tends to log me in on a completely different sim because they cant make contact with my home or last location.This has only started happening since voice so I decided to download the latest SL version yesterday with the new interface but its the same story.Rough times ahead I fear !
