i am trying to get a listing for an event in world...i want to have three kinds of events that are weekly, and i want them to come up in events when avatars search in world...how do i do this?
is it in addition to listing it here on th e blog and at SLX? I mean if i list it here, does it list in world also?
I am soooo ocnfused...

Search events, and you'll see a button for "create listing"--or something similar. It's there in the search box...

Events can be listed by going to your account page, then clicking on 'Events' from the pulldown menu on the top right.
This will direct you to an event listing of upcoming events, which includes a link that will allow you to 'add an event'.
The form requires information about the name of the event, a description, date, time, length, location, mature or general audience, and whether you require a cover charge.
Read the event submission guidelines carefully.
You will need to manually add your event listings a few days before each event - this is done so that people don't spam the event listings more than they already are.

yep and you can also click the link to the left of the webpage that says events and do it there too I soooo wish that ppl would stop spamming the events with yardsales and reg business type ads
