Can't use my plots for events???

I own two 512s and one 2048 on the mainland, also a 1024 on an island, own, not rent. the 512s are in a pg sim, the others are in mature sims. Why oh why can't I host an event on any of them?? I've written to LL, and of course, no response yet. Any ideas?

Do you have the landing point set? I think they don't show up unless you do (I could be wrong - anyone else care to chime in?).

Ding ding ding! The prize goes to Osprey.

I found, buried in the bottom of a pop-up on the events listing page, a bullet saying that you have to have the landing point set on a parcel in order to post an event on it.
