Can anyone please suggest places in SL that are just silly and fun? I'd also like to know places that are bizarre, odd or strange, but not creepy.

Any of the public sandboxes? Certainly one is likely to meet silly people and see silly things in them, and presumably they must be having fun there otherwise they wouldn't be there!

Raglan Shire was my first thought too.
Actually, hang out with pretty much ANY group of avatars in SL that are not adult humans and make your own avatar to match. Kid AVs and tinies are your best bet. _____________________

Silly fun is next on LL's Ban List. It's too Unpredictable (tm)
To the suits that run The Lab now silyl fun is wearing dress loafers with no socks. _____________________

wearing dress loafers with no socks. To Zindra with them for such a display of public nudity!!!! _____________________

Meh. Try the circular driveway at Waterhead. Lots of silly people there, having fun. I guess.
My friends and I make our own silly fun. Here are a few things I've seen, or participated in. All of them were more or less spontaneous, beginning with a group just standing around and talking. - Stacking avatars. - Death Hockey. Everyone puts on a Collider Death animation and skates. - Jurassic Club. Everyone puts on a dinosaur av, trying for the Best In Scales. - Pogo Stick parade. - Chicken Run (well, there WAS some pre-planning for that one) - The Chris Norse "Matching Parts" dare - Turning the ice in the skating rink phantom, then back again, trapping everyone under it. - Shooting people with my Furniture Gun - Luring sex-crazed noobs to an area guarded by a really virulent Security Orb - Tiny Autocross. Playing bumper cars under chairs, dodging Big People's legs. - Leap 'O Doom. Step off the edge of the sky platform and laugh all the way down. - Flying various vehicles through the Cartel Hangout - Sim Crossing Spectacle. Ride a jet ski at top speed, trying for the Most Spectacular wipeout. - Onigokko! - Drum jam. Get a bunch of avs to play the percussion circle at Livingtree, or the steel drums on the Hangout Dock. - Inventory Challenge. Everyone hauls out and shows off the goofiest items in their closet - The Marvelous Bride/Widow Caper. (that one involved preparation, too.) - Cartel CARP. Take the D/s out of CARP and play it as tag with a bunch of friends. And people say I'm too serious. ![]() _____________________

Anyplace can be silly and fun, if you keep the right company! (Last night a group of forumites had an impromptu round of extreme silliness in a furniture store.)
One time we had a whole group trying to climb the giant beanstalk, that was quite funny as most of us just fell off again and again. Boxes of freebie vehicles are always funny when tested with friends. Second the vote for Raglan Shire, there is always silliness there unless no one's around. Greenies Home is a build that imcorporates whimsy into every detail. |

I love Prim Hearts (the amusement park)!

For something a little 'dark' and odd, try Carnival of Doom. It's in my picks.
Hope the location is current. I haven't been in a long time. Spontaneous silliness is best. I agree with the others. _____________________

The Cavorite Mines, in "Caledon Moors" sim. Go EVERYWHERE, including the hidden teleport up.
Also check out Atom Burma's Carnivale rides! Some relatives of mine *wink* came across a bunch of pretty silly yard toys and scattered them over their lawn in the "Steelhead Boomtown" sim. Last house before the bridge that leads to "Steelhead St Helens" sim. Ooops! They dropped one in the river too. Plus, the neighborhood is gorgeous. Also a hearty second to both "Prim Hearts" and "Greenies Home"! ![]() |

There is a Chinese sim that has pandas everywhere that you can ride.
Anyone know the name of that one? _____________________

I once set up an Evil Kenevil -type inclined ramp on one of my work platforms that adjoined a set of linden ocean sims.
I had a 60 depth with which to build up speed. I played with the ramp angle. My longest jump on a motorbike was just over two sims. That was from a platform at 500m. _____________________

Can anyone please suggest places in SL that are just silly and fun? I'd also like to know places that are bizarre, odd or strange, but not creepy. Go have a look at my profile picks, there's something there thats silly and fun for sure. Chakryn is beautiful and fun - every time I go I see something new to interact with The Art Box (the link is on my profile) Also, silly and childish fun without even having to deck yourself out as a child av first (although you can if you want to) go build yourself an alien avatar at Unknowable SIM. And put some photos on Flickr to show us all what you've been up to ![]() |

I wouldn't mind hearing suggestions that are "creepy". Just be sure to qualify it for the sensitive people.

It looks like Carnival of Doom is gone.
Try events listings. Maybe some oddball events or sims will pop up there. _____________________
