The message tells you exactly what to do. You have to update your drivers.

You need to get the Vista-compatible drivers for your card:
NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 430

For a new machine, that strikes me as a rather old card, but hopefully you'll be able to find the correct drivers by now. They weren't available when Vista first came out, which is one reason I went back to XP.

 I was trying to be a little more tactful than that, but yes, it's a crappy card for such a powerful computer. You have one that was configured for office work, rather than gaming, so just how well it runs SL remains to be seen.

Thirded. If I read the earlier hieroglyphics posted correctly, that 6100 is most likely an integrated video adapter. Look at the amount of system RAM this machine has. 1918MB is an odd number. Integrated graphics have to borrow memory from the main system RAM. Put simply, when something graphic intensive like SL is running, that 6100 slows down the entire system. In this case, the 6100 probably uses about 128MB of system RAM (assuming that this machine has 2GB of system RAM). In general, if you intend to use a computer for any kind of modern games its best to have an actual video card with its own memory.

Perhaps we could provide better assistance if we just had some detailed information about the hardware in question.

Well it looks like I fixed it anyways. :D

For a "crappy" video card, it runs very nice. No lag at all. Thanks though guys.

The 6100 is actually not a graphic CARD, its a MotherBoard chip and shares system ram. Put a real card into the PCI-E slot and you will enjoy the power from the rest of the system. Try a 7 series nVidia (I use a 7900GT 256mb DDR2)

*nods* Thanks AWM, this actually explained why my husbands Radeon X200 sucked harder than my Radeon X300. I slapped in the spare X300 into his and it was a LOT better.
