Hello, i just started trying to make some clothes, i use corel paint. What i dont understand is, the clothes textures, do i have to draw them, or is there a way to find textures?.
I mean, in the Template from LL there is a jeans jacket in there, was that jacked all drawn by some1? now, if i want to make a pants, do i have to draw everything like pockets, zipper, buttons?, or are there textures out there somewhere that have ech piece seperate, like the pocket, zippers and all that a pants got,?
hope some1 can help me here, ty :-)

There are three different ways to make clothes in SL

1. Draw them from scratch

2. Steel a picture off the internet and photoshop them

3. A mixture of the above

Clothing design is often done badly where somebody just rips off a catalogue site...

or the person can use textures, zips ... collars etc ... and mix and match whole outfits.
In reality its down to your skill... there are so many "designers" in world thats to be honest are of exceptionally poor quality and some that are excellent.

The trick is do what you feel comfortable with and dont give up hope or effort....... as they say pratice makes perfect

The Texturing Tips Forum would be a more appropriate place for this question. There is a wealth of information that you will find most useful.
