Mysterious "Objects" in Inventory

In my inventory, there are several items named "Object". When I edit them, there is no description or indication of what it is. A few of them did rez into goofy things like wooden benches, etc. which were easy enough to rename. Most do not rez into anything that you can see.

Could these be my missing items, somehow corrupted? Any way to tell short of rezing?

Thanks

No, sadly not. In the Lost and found folder, a lot of prims just get lumped together with the name "Object." You may try right clicking on them and selecting properties to see if you can make a guess... otherwise, not really, as far as I can tell.

Be really careful about rezzing things if you don't know where they came from...I wound up with a self-replicating object that way once and, whew, wasn't that mess fun to clean up.

Yeah.. might wanna find a nice no script place to rezz on. It's a life saver!

If you are going to Rez Unfamiliar, or Improperly named articles in order to find out what they are, Do so in a Script Disabled area. This is a simple safety precaution in case someone has slipped you a Grey Goo, or self replicating prim in hopes you will accidentally start another Grid Attack.
