Hello again everyone. For those that have seen the last thread I created, you will know that I have a friend in need of money to get her account unfrozen. I sent her the $L needed, and have guided her through the steps of exchanging the $L for USD on the website. But she seems to be getting errors every time she tries to exchange her currency. We've tried doing it in increments of 1000L, tried updating her account information, tried everything we could think of, but it keeps shooting back some sort of error each time she tries to confirm the exchange:
the system encountered an error while processing your order , please try again
Does anyone know what might be the problem? Or perhaps does anyone know how to transfer the $L from her frozen account to mine so I can do the Paypal method?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Did she check her trading limits? If she has never successfully paid LL before, she may have a selling limit of L$0. I think the error message would tell you that, though. Either way, she really needs to contact the LL billing department. From: someone If you have an issue with your account (non-technical, billing/password/etc), you can call our Billing team at: toll-free (US/Canada) 800-294-1067 or long-distance (not free) 703-286-6277. They're available 9AM - 6PM PST, Monday - Friday I would also recommend submitting a ticket through the support portal, just to get the record started. If she can't log in as herself, she should log in as a guest and use the special guest/basic ticket.

My guess is that she hit her trading limit, especially if she is new.

She can't be that new if she was locked out for non-payment of a premium subscription. That would mean at least a minimum of one month already in game, wouldn't it?
Which I thought put you at US$2,500/month.

Thats true, but if she never bought any lindens, she would be considered a 1 day old for linden limit considerations.

Ah ok, for some reason I thought premium accounts had their "clock start ticking" right away.

It should start the first time someone successfully completes a transaction with LL, which would include Premium billing. If she just upgraded in the last few days and that's the billing transaction which froze her account, she wouldn't be able to sell Lindens.
Edit: Meant to say, if she just upgraded recently and hadn't purchased Lindens previously, she wouldn't have been able to sell.

it doesn't matter if you are premium or basic free.
the stages of exchange are based on how many days since your credit card has been charged. if she pays her debt to LL via telephone, it'll get her back on and also start her exchange rate to rise.
