I'm fairly new to it and I want to start & I understand you need to have a good Program. I was wondering if Pinnacles. Studio MediaSuit Titanium Edition would be a good program ?? & If not what would be a good program ??

I've never heard of Studio MediaSuit Titanium Edition, but I would recommend:

1) Photoshop (expensive)
2) Paint Shop Pro (much less expensive)
3) The Gimp (free)

No. Never heard of it before, but checked out the specs and it appears to be a video editing application. Not even remotely of use in designing clothes for SL.

You need a graphics program with alpha channels.

And the ability to save in at least .tga, .jpg, .bmp, and .jpeg formats, since this is what SL will upload for images.
