OK, Here's the deal. Friday night I was in my sl home, trying on various outfits and organizing my inventory. Suddenly everything went haywire. I couldn't take clothes off, I couldn't put clothes on....i couldn't do much of anything other than wander around my little house half dressed (couldn't tp either). So, I cleared the cache, logged out for a bit, just to log back in and be invisible! Argh! I tried the rebake textures thing under the client menu, and it did nothing. I tried removing all my clothing...which apparently worked because after a few more failed attempts at logging out and back in, my body is back, but now I'm totally naked and unable to wear anything! I'd really like to get dressed and go out shopping or to visit with friends, but, obviously, I'm going no where like this. Please help!! Is there anything else I could try? Thank you.

Try right clicking on a folder with a complete outfit in it in your inventory and selecting replace outfit. This sounds like a server problem; there isn't much we can do about server problems besides inform LL, clear our cache's, and relog.

There's a few things to try

Edit / Preferences
Under Network, click Clear Cache
Under General, make sure you have "Show Start Location" selected

Close SL & reopen

Under your name type in Hahne and reconnect

I know you said you tried it already, but clearing cache and relogging in a prim-heavy and lagging sim doesn't really help that much. There's nothing but water in Hahne so it gives you a better chance of succeeding.

Failing that, copy any of the newbie avatars from your library folder into your own inventory, right-click on the folder itself and pick "Replace Outfit". It may take a few attempts (if you can't get it from the library, go on Help Request and ask someone to give you the "please wear if invisible" folder, or Client / Character / Tests / Test Male/Female should give you the folder as well).

Once you look like a regular newbie again, go back to your normal self. Before you do any of the above, you'll want to make sure you know what/where your normal shape, skin, bald cap, etc are so that you can get back to your normal look.

Make a large torus. Texture it to look like one of those old barrels that you see in westerns. Wear that over your body.

And everyone else may not see you naked. Try asking a trusted friend if they see you naked.

Sometimes if I uninstalled SL & reinstall it helps.

I did this and all the clothes in the folder went POOF. Everything else was there (shape, hair, shoes) but clothes (top, pants and bra)... gone. I've done everything and looked everywhere and they're nowhere to be found.

Weird, huh?
