Search really is annoying in Second life.
Especially if you want to find certain product for example I want to find animation that will let make me or group members garden, scrub some walls or floors that aren't apart of camping thing as part of role playing.
There hundreds of sex animations but its hard to find just basic day to day ones in current system.
The other places may be better with certain products but some they aren't as easy to find they may say they have 500 items in that catorgory example in slexchange but but often only smaller portion show up.
Is there another alternative that I don't know about other then search in sl, slexchange and the two other similar type places?

Would it be necessary to reinvent the wheel? Maybe the camping things could be used if you could turn off the camping elements (payout and floating text.) If the camping thing is sold no mod, it should be simple for the seller to make a version of it do what you want.

Try contacting the creator of those scrubbing, gardening objects. Tell the creator what you want to do, and ask him/her if they'll sell you a couple of no-transfer instances of the animations.

It never hurts to ask.

Why would someone want to scrub in second life as well? Did we get virtual dust or like that? Guess someone would find a reason to do so, but if demand is high enough to have someone else make such a scrubbing thing is something else.

I got the sweeping thing, not for camping, I bought it at Belle Belle long before they were used for camping. Never dared rezzing it though, its really high primmed LOL.

I heard prims that are attach don't count towards prim count is this true?
By the way I brought this up because with growing community and more, more spam ads, the issue is more its hard to find goods and who making what even in search.

Here's a search suggestion for you.

Next time you're out-and-about and see one of those things (there's a Gardener and window washer at Lily Pad Lounge, btw), simply do this:

1. right-click the item.
2. Choose "Edit" from the pie
3. See who created the object
4. Search "People" for that name
5. Check that person's "Picks"
6. Teleport to their store.

Alternately, you could IM the person, but if they're busy builders, their IMs often get capped and lost. Better to create a notecard, and drop it in the appropriate spot on their profile.

You can pay a builder from the profile page, and they can deliver an item just as easily to your profile. That's a common way for custom work to be requested/delivered.

FD,
Yes. Its true. Prims that are attached to Avitars do not count toward Parcel limits on the number of prims allowed.
-A SIM will hold 15000 'free standing' PRIMS, not attached to avitars (in all of its parcels).
-Typically, a SIM will allow 40 Avitars to enter. In theory, each Avitar could carry an unlimited number of PRIMS as attachments. ('Prim Hair' is the most common attachment).
-Each SIM also has a small extra allowance for 'Temp on Rez' prims. Perhaps a thousand prims, altough the Lindens have been playing with this allowance for some time. Many land owners report that Temp on Rez is now causing an excess of prims to violate the SIM limits for Prims, and as a result, even 'normal' objects are being returned...much to the surprise of their owners.
-Finally, 'vehicles' in use don't count toward the SIM"s prim limits. ( I *think* this is still true) Vehicles are limited to 31 prims while being driven/flown/steered by an Avitar. Not sure if a plane with 5 passengers can enter a SIM with 40 avitars standing around...I'll have to try that! :p
