son wiped me out while setting up account now have no idea how to do anything is there a set of instructions somewhere that i may read to learn the basics.

you can go back to orientation island and go to NCI (new citizens inc) they have a landmark for that and a bunch of tutorials and classes hehe

open up search type in NCI under places

also if you hit to port home hopefully you will end up at a decent info hub

i think its ctrl-alt-h? as the shortcut and for more info if your totally lost and can't figure how to even get yourself to move use the support info under support there is all kinds of things in the knowledge base

You can start over.

I did that a couple of times. First time because I didn't like the name. Second time I chose an avatar that deviated too far from my ability to correct it as a newb.

Just lie about it being your first account. It gave me some qualms at first, but it seemed absurd to be stuck with my newbie mistakes.

Now that I've been playing awhile, I've learned that people do it all the time to beat Newbies to First Land. That's not something I would ever do. But as long as LL allows that practice to continue, you needn't feel any qualms about starting over as a result of innocent, newbie mistakes.

Probably. I'll probably get extradited to a foreign country, go to hell (I think the prohibition is against bearing false witness, so I might get off on that one), and worse yet, get my Premium account banned! (make my day - that was another dumb newbie mistake I made.
