I am looking for a new computer. I want it to be able to handle SL, have dual monitor support, be able to do graphic design using CS3, large HD, lots o ram, and cheap. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am looking for links to reputable dealers, feel free to link right to your suggested pc. :p

tigerdirect.com I have purchased from them many times and have never been dissapointed with service, quailty, or price.

I ordered mine from PC Club and have nothing but raves.

There were options that I wanted that were not in the drop down selection when configuring online, but a phone call solved that problem and I got exactly what I wanted. Don't know if they have stores near you, but I do all my computer shopping at their California locations.

I have used them for years for our offices and my home, nothing but a good experience.
there prices are competative and they have a build your own plan. for a few extra dollar they do the assembly for you.

If you already have a pentium 4 case you could just upgrade the motherboard processor and ram and save a tone of money.

Not really 'kick but'. only 1 gig ram, terrible graphics card.

The 6100 chipset isn't the best video for SL, but this system seems to be a good first step. You can add memory and a real graphics card to make it much better.

You might want to go and have a look at Dell Island within Second Life where you can both design and purchase a real life computer. In my own opinion it is one of the few first life corporate sites that currently "work" in SL and you may get some feedback from other avatars on site too.

I last looked in a few months ago, sorry in advance if it is no longer there and I am behind the times
