How to advertise Mainland for rent ?

I have big & good mainland parcels (no islands) which I'd like to RENT OUT, instead of selling them. My idea is to set up a group, to which the renter will belong then, once (s)he paid the monthly fee.

Now my question is, how can I advertise the rent? In the "about land" button, I have only the ability to SELL the land, not to advertise renting. So I see no possibility to get my land into the "Land Search" tab.

BTW: My fee will be 1.5 L$ / sm / month. No setup costs. No major covenant restrictions. What do you think about this rate?

No major covenant restrictions.

All mainland is no covenant land. You cannot have "covenant restrictions" at all. You can have rules for your renters but unlike islands mainland has no way to: 1. set a covenant or 2. have the renter check a box to agree to a covenant.

Just like all mainland you will are limited to your controls of it.

Well, the covenant issue is not my main issue.

My basic issue is how can I ADVERTISE that my land is for rent? You know, there is no way to set up land for rent within the SL client.
How can I attract other players? How can I communicate to them so they even know that my land is for rent?

Classifieds.

Big Rotating Boxes that say FOR RENT.

That's pretty much it.

Why not do what i did - scripted a simple object to accept payment and serve a simple notecard, and then when that was ready i posted a classified ad in the property Rentals category - there is a land rental category as well.

Easy - and yes it worked - both my properties are rented out - just need more land now.
