Moving Objects on My Land

I have really been enjoying erecting prefab houses on my properties. However I just spent 6 hours erecting house, doors, patios, lights, etc and placed a few pieces of furniture. Now I have taken a birds eye view and realize that I am a bit off skew in my property lines. Instead of moving each object individually, is there any way that I can select everything on my land as it is right now and rotate as one piece. I do not want this to be permanent just very temporary for a few secons? Please enjoy, but hate everytime I make one change to one object have to adjust 40 others also.

I think this works, but I"m not sure...

Rt. click on the house or a piece of it, click edit, then hold down shift while you select every other object in the house until they are all highlighted, click the rotate choice and rotate them...they should all move together...

Again, I'm not positive this works, but I'm fairly sure it does...not at a computer with SL on it or I'd try it first.

Good Luck!

Fly up above your house and use the camera controls to look down, zoom out so you can see the whole house, click on the house and choose edit then hold down the shife key while using the left mouse button to highlight a box around everything you need to move. You should be able to move everything at once. Good luck :)

Remember, tick the my objects only option in the tools menu drop down, that way you don't try to move the neighbor's fence when you do this.

Good point, my options only option is always checked so I never even think about being able to move other peoples things.

I have moved alot of objects before by just selecting all of them then going up to the menu and click 'Link' , move them, them click and select 'unlink'

Cheers

The problem with that last solution is that many objects start out linked, and when you unlink them you'll end up with each object unlinked into individual primitives... which can make things like scripted furniture or even doors and windows stop working correctly.
