So, after six months of regular play in the grid, I finally decided to become a Premium member; but that was two weeks ago, and so far I haven't seen a single parcel of First Land for sale in all that time. Am I doing something wrong? Or does Linden maybe just not release First Land on a regular basis? Or are they, but the parcels are just getting snatched up before I have a chance to do so myself? This is my first time dealing with land as a resident, and I'm just not very sure what's going on. Advice and information on this subject is greatly appreciated.

Use the search, pick first land and best of luck :/
The reality is its not only new users who grab first land, quite a few land traders manage to end up with quite a bit of it one way or another (especially if the sim is coastal) _____________________

IIRC, they just finished a big abandoned land reclamation push. Try asking in Linden Answers. _____________________

First land also typically runs out over the weekend, and gets re-stocked at some point on Monday. Nothing official about this, just a trend I've noticed from Live Help over the years.

so far I haven't seen a single parcel of First Land for sale in all that time. Am I doing something wrong? This happened to me a few weeks ago. I think First Land is a manual process fot the Lindens. With all the recent problems, maybe those ppl are too busy. Keep looking, and don't be impulsive when you see some. |

Or with the Tao of Linden in effect, maybe they just don't feel like doing it? ______________________________________________ I am Siobhan OFlynn's forum replacement |

I remember when I wanted 'first land', I was bugging Live Help for 2 weeks before any appeared. I got an IM from a Linden saying "pssst look out for first land in about an hour" when they were working on it.
But that was a year ago, no doubt things are different now. Lewis _____________________

When you do a search for first land select 512 in both land size and price you will find a lot more first land for sale Well, that's the problem; no matter what kinds of searches I do, or filters I apply, it always results with "None available." I just wasn't sure if this was a glitch on my part (I'm on a low-end Mac; I deal with a LOT of glitches in SL), or if LL simply doesn't offer First Land very regularly, or if they're maybe just really busy these days with new residents and haven't gotten a chance to create any new First Land. I want to hold out, because of the money involved; it's a great deal, frankly, compared to the $2,500 and up it costs to just buy 512 m2 from other residents. I'm getting impatient, though, and am not sure if I should keep waiting, or just bite the bullet and purchase commercial property. |

I'm also having the same problem
![]() I spoke with another person who started about two months ago and he stated that when he was picking out first land, the search feature would give quite a few results without any manipulation of price or size. Now he tries it and gets none found as well. |

Tried all weekend, nothing. Tried Monday morning, nothing.
Where are we supposed to post to? Something about Linden Answers? And I've never seen a Live Help. I'd love to bug someone. Michael _____________________

as of last nite there was no first land up but i know i've seen several in the last 2 weeks.
i imagine the lindens are dealing with bugs and grid crashers at the moment, keep looking. the way i usually turn up first land is to search for all land for sale, by price per sq. meter. the first land will show up at or near the top. sometimes, at least in the past, searching just for first land has not turned it up. a bit of advice: DON'T rush and buy the first piece you have access to. wait for a good one, even if it takes much longer. if you have to resell it you'll be glad you did. as for what a good piece is, feel free to IM me for my criteria. never had trouble reselling my land. |

And unfortunately people used alts to get more First Land for themselves. Are you serious? I thought that had been fixed. p.s. I'm not being serious. ![]() _____________________

I've never seen a Live Help. Live Help is reached from the main menu Help / Live Help option. I personally wouldn't expect Live Help to be of any great use for the purpose of finding First Land, assuming you are using the right options in the land search dialog. _____________________
