I wonder if we can ask that just the Resident Answers section stays open and you need to log in to see and use it?
The protests against (Adult) verification were very "effective" as you can see but nothing will change in their plans if we do nothing. Worth a try. I could really do with someone that can work out the Linden's calendar, I can't seem to synch up with their schedule and haven't made it to one for over a week and a half now.
Anyone else interested in doing this?

Anyone else interested in doing this? We've already begged. In Rime's thread, over on the blog. I believe their minds are made up, I can't imagine what could be said at office hours that hasn't been said a zillion times elsewhere, to change their minds. We poured our hearts out in the blog thread, begging for these forums to stay. (And they say *I'm* deaf?)

xstreet protested till it was blue in the face and the answer they got back was..only 10% use the forums so they need to cater to the majority.. something along those lines.. Lindens would show up a lot in xstreet forums and you may get a glimpse of them in here once in a great while.. i really don't see these having more of a chance than the other forums.. they'll be archived just like the others i'm sure.. i think we have to get out of the mindset that LL gives two hoots and a holler at what we think anymore.. those days are over..

They have more than enough dead and empty sims. What harm would come of leaving a section open that can only be seen if you log in? It would die a natural death that way.

because they are dumb and in control..lol seriously though..it would have to be a major outcry from the majority for them to even give it a thought and even then i think they would still archive these.. they didn't give a crap what people put in front of them for reasons in the xstreet forums..and they valued those more than these.. I hate to see these go but with only a few days left i'm not gonna get my hopes up again like i did for the other forums..

From: Jenshae Werefox It would die a natural death that way. They've probably been crossing their fingers and wishing "die out already! why won't the forums please just die?!" ever since they crippled everything here. Someone at LL just got tired of waiting...

From: Twisted Pharaoh To be honest i'm more worried about Content Creations forums than Resident Answers. Ditto. It's very much an all or nothing scenario as far as I'm concerned. While I appreciate 'Resident Answers', I will really miss the content creation forums - especially 'Scripting Tips'.

While I agree that a protest at this point would be futile I don't think that's a reason not to do it. Sometimes you just have to voice your concerns even if no one is listening. Besides, I'm always up for a good protest. Since I was a lone protester at the time I decided to go in disguise. LOL

I wouldn't suggest that someone in San Fran go and chalk the building. No, I wouldn't suggest that at all.

From: Ceka Cianci omg ahahaha that was so cute..now i want to protest tew I am often wrong, at times politically incorrect, and on occasion insensitive, but I'm almost always good for a laugh.
