Clearly most of the people visiting this forum are way out of step with the mysterious "majority" cited in the lated blog on policing the thought life of your fellow citizens. Clearly this forum will have to follow the way of other resident forums. The question is.....when?

Things that are broadly offensive:
Any and all religions are broadly offensive to a group somewhere,
nudity is broadly offensive to fat people,
skinny people are broadly offensive to the same fat people,
avis that aren't made of Barbie ((6'4, DD Cup Boobies)) parts are broadly offensive to men over 40,
chocolate is broadly offensive is diabetics,
meat is broadly offensive to vegetarians,
you are broadly offensive to someone,
politics are broadly offensive, period.
So, if LL eliminated everything that a group found offensive, second life would be a gigantic white room with nothing in it, and 2 people sitting around chatting in "G" rated means about cuddly stuffed anim...wait...those offend someone...chatting about...hmm....salad?

I find companies which collect and data mine personal data for electoral purposed offensive - can we ban companies like Aristotle?
I find poorly worded and mismanaged communications on blogs offensive - can we ban that?

Nothing personal folks. I actually like Philip Rosedale, but that cuts no ice. It's been fun, really it has, and I wish you all the best. But now Linden Labs will have to go out of business, and we will have to watch for its replacement.

we're still around.. while there may be fewer of us around these days, some of us are trying to keep up with the forums. (not very easy at times)
while i'm sympathetic to the issues at hand, this thread is technically not what this forum is meant for and thus, must be closed according to the rules. (i know.. many people will argue the validity of rules that may be found contradictory or favored, but that's besides the point and my duties.)
