Hi,
I have been playing for less then a week. I noticed that players can own 512m of land, and there would be no monthly fee.
Where would I look for this land size?

There's no additional monthly fee, but to own 512m2 of mainland you'd need a premium account, which needs paying for.
Land for sale is under a tab in 'Search'.

You require to be a member to own ANY land, but the 512 to which you refer is tier exempt.
Plus it isnt free land..... you still have to buy it from who ever is selling the land. Which from what I noticed latetly can be around the L$4 - 5k mark.

As always, make sure that you (1) know what to do with the land and (2) that the area where you buy land matches your needs and (3) contains a low risk of going bad (i.e. not a big amount of land up for sale). Also, check the price: 512 sq on the mainland are up for sale for everything between 5,000 and 9,000 L$.
Furthermore, why not renting for a few weeks while you make up your mind and get a feel for what owning land entails? For a 512 sq parcel this will cost you 200-300 L$/week. Hence it's not much of an inventment while you look around for a nice parcel (if you still want to buy).
Final note: "Buying" land on an island is not really buying. In fact you are renting with an upfront payment from the island owner.
