Musicals in SL

Has this been done before and/or willing to do it again?

Musicals in Second Life > Complete with sets, props, costumes and SINGERS. ?

This would be so amazing!

I've thought this might be fun myself. I've seen concerts in SL but I've not heard of a musical. I'm sure its just a matter of time before someone puts on a production. Though, I would imagine it would technically difficult to coordinate audio, music, lighting and animations at this point.

This sort of thing may be more common when they institute voice on the grid, since it might help eliminate the logistic nightmare that it would be to try and combine that many separate streams. You'd still probably have massive delay problems. That is if you're doing it all live and don't have all the singers / musicians in 1 RL location.

So, when IS voice going to come to SL?
