I just purchased a 1520m parcel in addition to my first 512m. I had thought the monthly fee for additional land above the 512 was $8 for between 1024 and 2048 (1536 and 2560 total land). It turns out it's $15 for my 2036 total? I thought it would jump to that at 2048. No biggie, but that means I can now own up to 4607 total land before my fee jumps to $25?

I don't know why, but I always thought those fees were for "up to" the additional land indicated.

yes i think its a few more meters then 4607 i can't remember the number right now but 4609 will still be 25 bucks

very common size great for small business or realy nice house can do most of what you want on that size lot

With your Premium Account you can hold "Up To" 512 sq m of land with no additional tier fees.

For an additional $5 a month you can own "up to" 512 sq m more for a total of 1024 sq m of land.

For an additional $8 a month you can own "up to" 1024 sq m more for a total of 1536 sq m of land.

If you are currently paying $15 you can own "up to" 2048 sq m more for a total of 2560.

If you own total land more than 2560 (even 2561) you will be charged $25 a month.

As you found out the wrong way, each tier limit is the maximum amount of land you can own before you get bumped to the next level

err i missed by 1 number its 4608 hehe if you go 4609 you pay more then 25

If I contribute my 512 sq m tier to a group, then that group is able to use it to purchase 563 (512 + 10%) sq m of land.

The group can always own it's total contributed tier + 10% worth of land.

Every member in the group doesn't have to be a Premium member, the group just needs enough contributed tier to cover the amount of land it owns.

If the contributed tier falls below the amount of land owned, I believe the land converts back to Gov Linden. Don't quote me on that though.
