End of an era, Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007. Will his avatar remain?

One of my favourite authors and visionaries has passed. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070412/ap_on_re_us/obit_vonnegut As a small addendum to his incredible life, is there a respectful way of keeping his avatar available to perhaps historians and archivists? http://www.answers.com/topic/vonnegut-secondlife-jpg http://blip.tv/file/128184

Ahh, such a great writer -- now I'll have to re-read all his books.
Perhaps if I ever need an alt, Malachi has a nice ring to it...

He was a victim of a series of accidents. As are we all. (Just a slight paraphrasing from one of my favorite quotes ever, from "The Sirens of Titan."

He spoke at my undergrad graduation back in 1994...this was when Generation X was being blamed for being lazy. He said (not an exact quote, I would need to look it up), "You're not Generation X, you're Generation A." He will be missed.

An extraordinary imagination ended in the most ordinary of circumstances... Kurt would have appreciated the irony. If Kurt didn't cancel his account, one would imagine it could remain in the SL datebase forever. Maybe Philip could log into it every once in a while for inspiration.

Perhaps he could be turned into the Ultimate Landbot
