Thanks for reading.
I'm landowner wanting to let my fiance "Set Home to Here" on my parcel and it's not working.
I created a group and made her a group "owner," thinking that might work, but no.
Currently, none of my 12,384 sq. meters of land is deeded to group. She owns no land and has free account with payment info on file.

Another curious thing:
No matter how many landmarks I make and pass to her, she always lands in the same spot on our property.
HALP!!
I am willing to do whatever it takes to correct this situation so my lady does not wind-up in a welcome center when she "Goes Home."
Ideas anyone please?
-- TIA

I think you have to set "allow create home " or something to that effect in the about land window.

I haven't been able to crack the home nut for my tenants, who are all on land set to group. In the group roles and abilities, I have enabled all members to set home to here on land set to the group, but it hasn't seemed to work.
As for the teleporting - You need to either clear the landing point in about land, or allow people to set landmarks anywhere.

@Madison: All options permissions (except Edit Terrain) are checked. I see no "Allow Create Home" option.
@Cristalle: TY. I suspect a possible bug in the "Set Home" thing, but will do as you suggest and clear the landing point and see if that helps with landmarks.

This is a known bug. HAs been for months Bug report it to remind the Lindens. Being a GROUP member is not sufficient to enable SET HOME HERE, even if the About Land tic box is checked to allow it. YOu must OWN the land or use the Teleport locaitons as home. My solution is to make a Landmark for my rental house. I named it ".home" so its always at top of inventory. If you're telporting using the Landmark and are landing somewhere else, then eitehr the Land Owner or the Estate Owner has overridden the Teleport landing location and is NOT allowing you to create and use your own Teleport points.

-- TIA Check your Land settings and see if you have allowed People to TP in anywhere, or whether you have selected "TP POINT" Just a thought. Angel.

Thanks to all who responded, my lady is now able to create landmarks wherever she likes on the property.
As for the "Set Home To Here" bug, I will report it if only to keep it fresh in the minds of the programmers.

From: Usagi Musashi this bug might be in the fix inthe coming weeks.....lets hope they fix it. I did my civic duty and posted the umpteenth bug report, completely and properly. I vote readers do the same and keep this bug alive and needing tending to until resolved. Let's just suppose someone is naked and making love and gets sent home for whatever reason, stark naked. If that's a welcome center, it's not cool at all. When that alt key thing was working, getting sent unexpectedly home (wherever that was) wasn't an impossible thing at all. Lindens need to fix this "Set Home to Here" thing. Now.

Agreed. Definitely! Lol! I don't see any good reason why there should be such narrow restrictions on setting home, unless it's a device to force people to buy land.

I seen this this so many time inteh welcome area when it happened. OMG it was a sight to be seen. But I agree its a bug that can be a seen only for mature area. Not PG. I going to start sending in bug reports again.
