I suppose that if you could show through numbers that you have increased the SL companies' income, then yes. But you'll have to explain what SL is; most people still don't understand the concept. I'd be careful, but I'd say yes you can. Good luck!

Unless you have had a major success story I don't think it's worth mentioning the SL experience in your CV. SL is wonderful but I don't think employers are generally going to consider virtual world experience as relevant unless that Real Life job involves working in a virtual world too. Possibly the exception to this is in the area of design and 3D modelling.

I don't think mentioning SL in your resume is a good idea unless you worked for LL at one point.
Until someone actually comfortably retires (and it's publicized well) by working on SL I don't think it will be taken seriously in the work world.

In my opinion, it would depend on the type of company you were seeking work at. In some cases like the ones already mentioned above it might be helpful. Or even in the case of applying to a young company that is really looking for a new advertising edge. In most cases, I'd say no don't mention it though. Brandi...xxx

You are seeking a job in marketing. If you can market your SL experience and show how it it relevant to a RL position I think you would be able to use it. What you would really be showing is your own marketing ability in RL.
