I have opened a new Shopping Mall - won't spam my Mall name in here, just click my profile for info - and thought wouldn't it be good to have a Money Tree there. So off to Bravo Bravo I went and purchased one. Money Tree v4. Rezed it at The Mall and changed the Payment level from default to 0. After 1 hour, 3 Linden Dollars were there unpicked. Tracked down a noob to try it out, but the tree refused to pay (it had defaulted back to its' original state). So although I changed it to 0 and it acknowledged the change, Liden Dollars continued to grow and no-one could pick from it. Went to bed and thought maybe it was too early yet. Woke up and lo and behold there was 51 Linden Dollars in it - untouched. IS THERE A BUG IN VERSION 4 MONEY TREE THAT WON'T ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE THE PAYMENT LEVEL ? Joined Money Tree Owners Group - why are there over 600 members of this Group, yet only 94 Money Trees in SL? Surely the Group Creator should restrict membership of this group to those who actually own the Money Trees!!!

I really don't have an answer for you, other than perhaps you should contact the creator of the Money Tree. Or ask the 600 people in the Owners group if they are having similar problems. Good luck!

Is the tree deeded to a group or is it owned by you? If it is grouped owned, it will not be able to pay out.

There is also that little issue mentioned in the Blog the other day, that this past update broke a couple of script commands. I know that many objects of many different vendors were affected.
Hopefully one of the scripters here will elaborate on the problem, but from what little I understand, it's something about detecting the script state change inside an object. Apparently Linden broke it so that if a script goes inactive, the grid doesn't always detect it reactivating.
I've heard 2 work arounds: [1] take it back into inventory and re-rez, & [2] re-compile the scripts (not a good idea with some items).
I strongly recommend Vinsette's advice: contact the owner & others in the group.

Thanks all for your replies.
The MTO Group has been asked, but was fruitless, only raising similar questions by owners having the same problems.
I may have set it to Group when I rezed it, I'll take my tag off and try again.
