Yesterday I bought some jeans and after they loaded into inventory they disappeared, the seller gave me another set and I placed them in inventory, last night, they were there when I logged off.
Now, today when I logged on they were gone. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
I know I'm still pretty much a noob, but I can keep track of my stuff.
By the way, I made two purchases yesterday (different sellers, both jeans) and the other one I've had no problems with.

Okay, the list of to-do's for self help seem rather pointless, but the first one is to always clear your cache. At the login screen, it's under preferences/network. Shut SL down, restart. It forces the inventory to reload the list. This *sometimes* works, though it's closer to 1/5th the time.
The other is sadly for if you rezzed an object... so it wouldn't apply. And you did the last thing on the list, which is ask the creator for another copy.
Other than that, you may try a bug report, but you'd have better luck clearing your cache.
Sorry, I don't have any other advice that might help.

As I said I'm still a NOOB  Clearing the Cache worked! Now I'm really embarrassed. But, I ALWAYS clear it before loging off at night. Oh well, so much to learn about SL. Thanks! |

well i can go one further ... i was moving an linked all my bed room furniture together an since im used to sl doing odd things i wrote down every thing in my bed room so if one name it was under linked didnt show i could find it (only had 4 items in bed room ) low an behold no such items in recent an none in inventory gota love spending 7k an loseing it lol re down loaded also did cashe hung out window side ways an did hokey pokey too no such luck lmao
