Can I Join Lots to Deed to Group when they are NOT Adjacent?

I have two lots, one is a 1024m and the other is a 512m, they are in the same sim, However they are Not adjacent to each other.

I have them rented (set to group) and I want to deed them to group.

However, my renter has used around 346 prims (his business is all on the 1024m, the 512m is just for prims) and so I cannot do one and then the other because some of his items will be returned to him and he has put a lot of effort into his place and it will be almost impossible for him to get to 234 prims on the 1024.

So, my question is: Can I somehow join the lots and then deed them as a 1536m?

Thanks!

just click and drag to join as you normally would.

I would be extremely careful deeding to group. Turn off Autoreturn beforehand. Be sure every single prim is set to group.

if they are not adjacent to one another you can not join the land plots

not sure how you will work around the prim situation.

mine cuz if you think about it, if they are not adjacent how can you drag the outline across them and join them???

look it up on knowledge base I am sure it is there somewhere

I have been joining and subdividing land long enough to know it can not be done unless they are touching each other

Just yesterday I joined 2 parcels separated by Linden Roadway with no problems. Then, I joined that new parcel to my main parcel separated by Linden RR and another individual's parcel. If there is a parcel inbetween that is not yours, it ignores it but joins your own land.

Knowledge Base says no (step 2):

Joining Land

Joining land is a very similar process, once again using the yellow land selection.

1. Stand on one of the parcels you wish to join to another. From the View Menu turn on Property Lines.
2. Ensure that both parcels of land are adjacent (they share a border at some point).
3. Ensure that both parcels are within the same region. You cannot join land across a region boundary.
4. Ensure that both parcels have the same owner. You cannot, for example, join your group land to your personal land.
5. Okay so far? Then right-click the ground and choose Edit Land or hit Ctrl+5 on your keyboard.
6. Now you're able to drag the yellow land select box. What you're aiming to do here is to drag the yellow selection such that it spans the border between the two parcels you want to join (see the image below). You need to have selected a little land from both parcels that are to be joined. You do not need to select all of both parcels, just some from both.
7. With that done, you should now be able to click the Join button from the Edit pane. If you can't see this option but can see a More button, click that first and you should see the Join option appear.
8. With both parcels now joined into one, check the About Land window (right-click the ground and choose About Land) to make sure that your settings are correct.

Note: The combined parcel will take its name and settings from the parcel you first selected.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

if both land pieces have the same owner (u or group), u don`t have to join them
land with the same owner in the same region automaticly combine their prims

Yes, you can join non-adjacent parcels. The difficulty depends on how far apart they are. You need to be high enough to see both and be able to select them both at the same time. Go to Edit Land, then draw a square from one parcel onto the other one and click JOIN. You don't need to select all of the parcel, only any 2 squares on both parcels. The system will ignore any land located in between that is not yours or your group's. I have done this already, that's why I know it's possible. NOTE: When selecting, it'd best to select your first square from the larger parcel, so that the parcel settings are copied onto the smaller parcel, not the other way around.

Sure you can, as long as you can drag select from one lot to another, you can join them. Simply drag your selection across the lot(s) you dont own, and join.

Someone should inform the Lindens, since they apparently weren't aware of that when putting the Knowledge Base together. ;)

That option probably was changed at some point in the recent past and the Lindens never bothered updating the KDB... as many other things.
