Does anyone know of a good in-world or www tutorial to help a relative newbie with the basics of editing an object's properties. I'm not talking about someone who wants to learn to build. This is for the relatively new user who merely wants to change an object's basic properties like like color, texture, shape, size, position and rotation, and perhaps learn how to edit a note card to configure the object.

Search for the Ivory Tower Library of Primitives in world. Yes, it's there to teach people to build, but it's laid out in a step-by-step fashion and the first steps involve all those things you ask about relating to primitives (basic properties like color, texture, shape, rotations, etc.).

Ivory Tower is *the* place to start. Hands on, self-paced tutorials from the very start of rezzing different types of prims all the way through making a basic chair and so forth. Use search to find your way or swing by SkyBeam Sandbox, there is a landmark giver near the entrance to the left that'll get you on your way.

Do a search for NCI. New Citizens Inc. has regular classes.

Lee, Can you suggest any specific u-tube tutorials. I was thinking of that myself but nothing came up when I searched.
