Would one be allowed to use an alt account to transfer large sums of money to, then sell it on lindex from that alt account?

Would one be allowed to use an alt account to transfer large sums of money to, then sell it on lindex from that alt account? That's how the bots do it. If you do it though, you'd run the risk of having your account frozen. _____________________

thanks you two, that`s exactly what I wanted to know.
I have already asked LL if they could raise my trading limits and it said allow 5 business days to hear back; and of course, Ive heard nothing -but- this same story in the forums over and over so I guess theres nothing to do but sell on 3rd party sites of which i am not familiar to any of it. When selling on a 3rd party site does the money basically rot in there until someone decides to buy it? Im looking for a fast transaction like the lindex offers. Is this possible elsewhere? |

We as a company/group trading in SL, use a central alt account to make all transactions through and from. This allows us to keep one set of 'books' using the transaction history, for potential taxation purposes. NC's are used to show payments made to vendors/contractors etc, and also any payments received through our clients. Any payments made to any other group member is returned and asked that they only pay that one account, it is written in all our contracts. 'Wages' are paid to group members directly from that account using an ingame ATM system, authorised by the 'accountant' alt account and NC's made to show what each transaction was made for.
We download all transaction reports regularily and copy these onto all of our 4 mirrored servers located in 3 countries for safe keeping and comitted to paper and CD rom. The alt account has paypal access to accept either investments/payments from the outside world, or payments made to companies/individuals out of game. _____________________

Im looking for a fast transaction like the lindex offers. Is this possible elsewhere? Selling Lindens ANYWHERE requires someone to buy it first, The Lindex just sells very fast especially if you place your sell order as a limit sell. SLExchange allows you to sell Lindens and does get the US dollars to you alot faster than Linden Labs do. APEZ also allows selling and works in alot fo different currencies, not just US Dollars. www.slexchange.com www.apez.biz these 2 are the most respected outside of Second Life. |
