My secondlife EX has a profile which asks everybody to orbit me.
I reported this in an abuse report but linden labs choose to ignore it.
Is it because she owns an island and is therefore seen as untouchable.
They never did anything when she stole my land either.
To say that I'm disenchanted with SL is an understatement.
I really don't think I can stay in game anymore.

You could always start a new account if it gets really bad.

Also, I'm really not sure island owners are untouchable. Wasn't the owner of the Satyr sim banned recently?

I would take a screenshot of the profile. IM a linden liason directly and drop the screenshot on them. the Abuse line can get very long.

re: new account

Yes I could start a new account, but then I would feel defeated and I would have to lose the name that means a lot to me.
I also have to get used to the idea that linden labs will always back an island owner over me.
It just seems wrong that she can be allowed to do this.

personal experience. LL does not always take the side of an island owner. It is far more likely your abuse report is buried in a long ist of reports they have not got to yet. WHich is why I suggested going straight to a Linden in world.

The screenshot idea is a good one, wish I had thought of it, but they do have an idea what is in her profile.
Maybe it's too late now, but thanks anyway darkness.

If it still in her profile. Pull up her profile with search. Take a screenshot with "show interface in screenshot" checked. You can still do it

Unfortunately that is easier for people without a current verified account to do than those who are already established :( I know three people who wanted to create an alt who were blocked from doing so (presumably) because they already had verified accounts on file.

Even if the OP could do so, that is a poor solution at best. Ideally LL would be willing to step up and help resolve the issue.

Patience may be in order because of recent attacks, but I believe it will get resolved in time.

There are some good shields on the market that prevent most orbits. Usefullness is determined by how much you wish to pay and the expertise of the griefer.

As for the AR, Every AR I have submitted has seen resolution. The timeframe involved can be much greater than you may think. I've had AR's acted upon months after submission, but they were acted upon.

Best way, imo, to handle this would be to get a good HUD radar and keep watch of anyone you know is "on her side". Then simply sit on a on object if they come by. If they attempt orbiting, or any other adverse behavior, AR them and encourage all your friends who may be with you to also file ARs.

The system is slow, but does work. Just stick in there and stand tall through it till it does.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

Sounds like you made a good choice by letting go of the relationship.
Profile with request to orbit you, just makes them sound silly.
Besides, being orbited is kinda fun...so look at the bright side and just ignore.
Negative attention is still attention, so if you ignore it, he/she will get bored.
