I have a few questions about how to use llSitTarget(...) to make fake teleporter:
1) 'Vector Offset' is the position I am ending up at right?
2) if so how do I make it so it detects where an object is dropped(like a portable teleport)???
Any help would be most appreciated.

P.S.
Sorry for posting another thread. Noone was reading my other one after a while so I figured to get answers I should post one with a respective name=(^w^)= sorry.

thank you VERY much,

This is probably better asked in the Scripting Tips forum, but here is some info about it:

Eiji, if I understood our question correctly, the objects do not interact with each other. Every teleporter I've ever worked with had to be set manually. This usually involves going to the start location and destination locations and making note of coordinates. The teleporters in both locations do not interact with each other (there may be some highly scripted specialty ones that do, but you are making a DIY script....) So, you can have a teleporter to take you up the 2nd floor, but this is accomplished without placing an object on the 2nd floor. You just have to put in your destination coordinates to your teleporter object on the 1st floor and you will "unsit" at those coordinates on the 2nd floor. You only need an object on the 2nd floor if you want to offer teleporting from there to somewhere else.
