Group liability trickle charges

In reviewing my recent transaction history, I just discovered that simply by being in various groups I am being debited regular 1L charges for "group liabilities". It seems the group advertising charges are being distributed to the group.

I learned early on in creating groups to turn off this default "Pay group liabilities and receive group payments" setting which LL inexplicably enables on group creation.

So this is posted as a warning to group members to keep an eye out on these charges, as they are just automatically debited from your account simply by virtue of being a member of a group that was created using default settings.

It also speaks to the fact that group owners should be aware of this feature and fix it in their groups. It's under "Members & Roles" and in each Role, under the "Accounting" tab.

It gets even better for some groups .

One group I'm in regularly receives money into it. For every day except Tuesday, "Receive dividens & pay liabilities" is set to the owners, on Tuesday they change it over to everyone just to save on a few L$.
