Don't know if anybody else has had this, but a few times now I've had a strange spinning problem. Wonder if there's a solution?
Here's the scenario: I teleport somewhere, walk around for a bit, then suddenly I start spinning around pretty fast. I can reverse it by spinning the other way, but I can't stop it. Teleporting away also doesn't cure it, not does sitting down and standing up again, tried pose stands, stop animations, checked attachtments etc. Only solution I've found is a relog. It's annoying.
Anyone else had this and/or found a cure?

Only time I had the infinite spin issue was while piloting a plane. I had to relog before I got airsick.
Maybe your arrow key is stuck?

Do you happen to be using one of those anti-push/move lock scripts? Some of those can leave your avatar acting pretty giddy even after you think you're firmly on the ground.

It's not the arrow key, that was the first thing I thought as well and also not using any anti-push thingy scripts. Yes it certainly makes me giddy!

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I had this happen to me two or three times. I never use the cam control widget. The only thing that stopped it was a relog.

I've just started having the same problem out of the blue. I spin clockwise or counter-clockwise. I also sometimes can't stop walking.
I tried upgrading the SL software, I tried a third-party SL viewer. Nothing has helped so far. It is very annoying!

I've always been told when you get stuck spinning or walking over the ocean (Usually it's over ocean as well), you have a partial disconnect. Log out and log on and the spin goes away. Good luck.

Unfortunately it isn't an occasional problem. It now happens every single time that I log on.
I tried navigating with the on-screen display instead of using my keyboard's arrow keys, and it still happens. In fact, the on-screen arrow in the direction that I am spinning stays highlighted, as if there were a Caps-Lock for a left or right turn.
So, this rules out the problem being a stuck keyboard key.
Suggestions on what could be causing this and how to fix it would be much appreciated.

It's happened to my bf a few times. I make sure to get it on video when it does. i'm sure I'll find use for it one day.

It's happened to me flying before, especially after a recent SL update.
It's pretty freaky - the av keeps flying, won't respond to commands and the head stays still while the body twirls and spins and twitches like - well, I can't even think of a comparison. The only solution is a relog.

Sometimes, especially when the grid lags a lot, I disappear underground, and fly over SIMS, but never stop flying. The only solution here is to teleport home, or any other parcel.
Re-logging in is also a solution. I think it's just a sync loss between you and the grid, being unable to re-sync in time.
