Okay, so I've been around for a while. I love exploring new places, especially nice/inventive builds. Some of my favorites include natural settings. Amongst my favorite regions are Avaria, Tableau, Livingtree, and Serenite. I also used to love DharmaEcho Gardens in Digiuda and the Walden region, both of which are no longer around.

I really want to find some new places to wander, ones I've not been before. Anyone have any suggestions?

Now here's the difficulty: first off, I'd prefer they be newer places in SL. There's a lotta older places I've been, an I'm really looking for some of the newer cool spots. Also, it needs to be "kid friendly," so no "lost gardens of Apollo" type places or clubs an stuff. It need not be a playground, but just not super adult in nature.

Mari, not sure how long it's been around but there's a collection of sims in a PI starting Secret something or other. There are multiple levels with a path connecting top to bottom that goes through the most amazing cavern. I've been back there numerous times and haven't covered all the wonderful plants and views. :)

There's the Myst uru island or something... True it's just a big ad.. but it definitely has some unique things there.

One of my fav places, dunno how old it is, is the cloud Chamber that Jopsy Pendragon made. To me its the finest partical display in SL. I love to go there just to watch ansd relax :)

Tealink, The Cloud Chateau, Hina (33, 26, 43)

Oh ya - I love the cloud chamber. Be sure to check out the fireworks in Teal as well. Kinda helped inspired the fireworks shows I'm doin in Livingtree.

I've been meaning to check that out. I know dat some "big ad" sims can be fun (AOL Pointe) an some can be really bad (Food, Comcastic Island). Sounds like dis could be the former.

I think the place that bilbo is refering to is actually 2 or 3 sims. "Midnight Reflections", "Secret Reflections", and maybe a 3rd whose name I can't remember.

I don't no how "new" these sims are, but they are certainly worht a visit.

No it's not about drugs. The entire sim is one huge puzzle. It's lots of fun :D

Looked like it might be from a quick look at the map: I'll check more later. Cool!

Might not be your thing, but the Mexican tourist board created an inworld version of Chitzen Itza. Having been there in rl, I can tell you that this is fairly close to the original.

Oh wow I really need to remember to look for that one. I've been to and climbed around Chichen Itza.

Pot Healers sim name is Numbukalla. I finished it a month ago - really lots of fun and very challenging to try to figure out puzzles with others there

I found it last night! I'll have to explore it more - really cool! I also checked out Visit Mexico (took a buncha piccies) and Myst Online Uru (need to look at this one more too, yet), then.

Then I still ended up at Livingtree to fish, and Serenite (finally found the hidden cave!), and avaria (cool new whelp dragons!). Creature of habit!

All the suggestions - so far - have been great. Any others, anybuggy?

Update: Found and explored Chichen Itza. Something of a let down after having seen the real thing :) Part of the allure is lost when you do not have a long ways to walk, and all the other smaller ruins are not recreated in SL.

Still an interesting diversion while waiting for a music act to start in another sim.

It's one of those problems that does crop in SL: A region is only so big, an they had a lot they wanted to cram in, I s'pose. It was still nice, if, well, a little cluttered in spots. Not bad, though!

You might take a look at "The Big Easy" A recreation of New Orleans French Quarter.
It has been compressed to fit on the sim, but major points of interest are there.

"City of Tomorrow".

"Galveston Island"

"Prim Hearts" is a fun place.

The Balloon ride at " ImagineNation"

A fun way to explore is to go bike riding on one of the roads on the mainland. You can come across some interesting places.

I'll second Midnight Reflections, as it is really nice. You can get lost in there for hours. There are secret rooms and such hidden all over.

There is this interesting little bubble thing next to my Sim, and a nice gallery that has fireworks shows, (edit): in the northwest corner of Ginsberg.
