The white texture bug

Is this still going on? I've been away from PS for a few days and haven't had a chance to upload anything to test, but a friend of mine says his jerseys he made are coming out as white textures randomly on him and randomly on others.

(FYI, I'm not talking about the missing image bug, but a straight up missing texture.)

Has there been an effective workaround if it's still going on?

the best workaround seems to be to take something off, or adjust your av; even the tiniest thing works. My av now has very small ears - whenever someone tells me I'm white, I go quickly into appearance and jiggle the "ear" slider a tad, then come straight out. Fixes the thing straight away.
