How to get from a SEARCH result to location in MAP

I hope this isn't a dumb question but I'm really stuck. It's a two-parter....

(a) When I use the SEARCH button to search Places, Events, etc. I can find what I want but then I can't figure out how to get to the place, event, etc.
e.g. I do a search for `free furniture' and in the search results I find a place called FREEBIE WAREHOUSE. I can see the photo and description of the place. Now how do I Teleport to it? I can't find anything clickable in the seach results window; and I get "Not Found" when I search for it in MAP. I am so frustrated.

(b) When I do a First Land search in Land Sales, if some day something shows up in the search result(s), will there be a Teleport button right beside the First Land listing(s)? Or will I have to search in MAP using the place name of the First Land, and then Teleport?

When you click on one of the search results, look in the pane to the right. You will find a teleport button. Click that.

could be difficult to spot if you have, say, your inventory window open covering it.

It's hard to argue with either of your assertions :)

The button I want to press always seems to be behind some White-Out (tm). Grr.

Whenever I come across someone nude or half-nude, I take a piece of black electrical tape and place it on my monitor so as not to be offended.
Now my monitor is covered with strips of black electrical tape and I sometimes find it hard to locate places on the map.
:-D

To the original poster. I believe your question has already been answered....its Friday and I'm just having some fun.
(obviously not as much fun as the people that induced my electrical tape wrath)

Problem solved! But I had to engage the live-in-game help of George Linden to solve it.

George Linden told me that my TP button must be off the page/hidden and that I either needed to somehow grasp the bottom of my window and pull it up, or go into File-> Preferences-> Graphics to change my IU size. I did the latter and voila--the hidden TP appeared!

In Graphics I slid the UI size slider to the left. My UI size was at .10000
I slid it left over to .925 and now I can clearly see the TP button. It makes everything look smaller, but that doesn't bother me as I can change the setting back each time I'm done searching/teleporting.

.950 UI size is adequate but it gives me barely enough of the TP button to click on. If I'm searching for First Land things will happen fast when land appears so I want to have that TP button in plain sight so I'll stick with .925

Seriously, I actually do occasionally have a t-shirt draped on my monitor blocking part of my view. Sunlight streams through my window and I don't want it beaming directly on my screen.

The issue I have with being new with search was and has been the buttons that get in way of bottom of the screen. Often unless you remove the chat and tool bar tab on bottom your view of the bottom of screen or teleport, etc is gone. I just figured out yesterday how to fix the problem and I have been around for three months.
If anyone new has same problem and needs more help message me if you can't figure out how to hide the tab.
Sadly being new it often is hard because People who been around just don't get the little things and how hard it is on new player:(
Glad you figured it out.

Thank you FD Spark. Even though I found out I can fix the problem by changing my Graphics setting, I would still like to know how to hide the tab as well. Why don't you post the info here for all to read in case there are other new players who will benefit from reading the info.

Orginally I thought I did the display setting but everything was too small for me which always caused issues playing scramble, reading.
When you have tool bar on and chat is up you need to click the chat button
this closes the blank chat and history window.
Then go into View make sure the x by toolbar is unclicked.
When you want chat or tool bar back on just reclick toolbar and put x back under view.
Also depending on your display setting you can drag the search box too so you can see the teleport or message option.
Hope it helps.
I am learning more each day but I do remember what its like not to know how to do literally anything.
