I see the other thread where the OP is looking for RP sims, but my tastes are a bit different, and I'll also give my opinions on some of the things I've tried.. soo..

I'm looking for sims with more emphasis on ERP (=erotic/explicit RP) and BDSM than combat. The sims must not be dead, and they must have some sort of entry requirements to join (I don't want to attempt to RP with people who can't type one coherent sentence). The theme doesn't matter that much, but I have a slight preference for modern/urban. Oh and obviously the players need to be mature, not just age, but attitude in general too.

Seen so far and liked:

The Crack Den - This is the best one so far, no complaints here really, but it's nice to have options

Capture Roleplay - Good for short encounters, but no storyline

Space Station Necronomicon IV - I like this one, but last time I looked, it was a bit chaotic with all the different characters. Just a bit hard to get immersed, maybe it's just me though

Hillcrest College - This is a good one too, but the specific theme just doesn't appeal to me that much

ETA: Claiming Beauty - For the friends of the 'Beauty' series of novels from Anne Rice, a great place. Again, the specific theme wasn't so interesting to me in the end

Heard good things about but didn't have an in-depth look at yet (Please add to this list!):

Toxian City

Midian City

Looked at and didn't like so much (Give me reasons to try again!):

Wastelands - Looks nice but there's no-one out there?

Dark City - The worst of White Wolf ego-tripping type of RP

Human Trafficking Mansion - Empty?

Gorean sims - Too much combat, and the RP gets a little repetitive, since there are only so many themes to explore

Star Wars sims - The combat thing. Plus I don't like SW

Star Trek sims - Well no-one seems to bother to RP there, it's more like a huge convention

What do you mean by 'ERP'?

I think the E is for Erotic? Since he's into BDSM.

Yes indeed, ERP = erotic/explicit RP.

Not a sim, but there is a group called something like Sexually Explicit Roleplayers or Explicit Sexual Roleplayers. I saw it listed in someone's profile once and had to check out the group profile... never joined, though!

Actually, looking at groups in general may lead you to events/sims/parties - a lot of events are not listed on the events calendar, I think, since there seems to be a perception that the events calendar is so full of useless spam that no one uses it to search for events anymore. Hope you find what you are looking for!

If you're an accountant, ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning.

(The other definition sounds like more fun.)

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
