The PayPal thread made me think of this… The other day a friend and I were talking about our Group and figuring out tier payments and how to take care of such. Now, we are not a business entity – not in RL and certainly not in SL – but frankly I am not comfortable being responsible for managing the payments once we hold more land and so forth – is there a way to set up say a PayPal account that can be shared between all parties equally and so that each would then contribute US funds for use in SL? Any thoughts on this?

A You can both pay for tier through SL and contribute that tier to group. In effect you are splitting the payments. However this does open the possibility that your land could be sold by the other owner of the group to themselves, then sell it outright, leaving you with no money and no land.

Although I can see where that would be a possibility - I strongly feel such a thing would not be. But thank you for the answer - and the caution.
