Hi there!
I'm Ben 20 years old from England..
New here at Second Life - got told by one of my friends on another game I used to play called 'There'. I recently left There due to the poor developers, and rude haters. Hopefully this SL will be much better than that!
Although, one thing I did like about There was the in-game browser, does Second Life have one of these? or any third party download I can use?

 I don't know of any inworld browsers. As far as Rude Haters and poor developers go........  ....it'll depend on who you talk to._____________________

As much as they'd like to think so they don't speak for the majority of SL. As far as poor developers, that's a subject that will be debated for the rest of SL's existence! The only place to get to a browser in-game is the F1 Help screen and the "Web" tab in people's profiles. those are both powered by Mozilla's Geko engine. Those are "stops" on the way to full browser integration (I believe the ultimate goal is "webpage on a prim"
but we're not there yet.There are plenty of rude nasty people both here and in-world, but I'd say the huge majority of those drop off pretty quickly. I believe (for the most part) if you treat people well they will return the favor. I also tend to believe the greatest tool for fighting griefers is the ability to ignore them, or sometimes be amused by them (but that's tricky). Welcome. Come check out the in-world music scene if you're into live music - there's concerts happening most of the time. There's even a nice section of the events listings that only has Live music (and gets policed fairly well). _____________________
