Problem with New Hair/Shape

Dear Everybody,

Hi, I recently bought a new hair and shape, (the new hair coming from ETD), but whenever I try to put it on, it says something like 'cannot rez object'. After that, when I log off and log back on, the items disappears from my inventory.

Is there someway to fix this?
I'd appreciate any help.

I would find an empty island sim. Clear my cache. Log out and log in. Try wearing it again. I've been having some issues with items rezzing just recently.

Well, I tried it, but it doesn't work :/
As soon as I log out, and log back in, it's out of my inventory, even if I haven't tried touched it.

Hmmm... this is unusual. I just post here because I've been *trying* to buy hair from the very same place with just the same issues, although I DON'T think it has anything to do with the place. Just coincidence.

I've been buying a bunch of demos and trying to wear them. Either getting 'object pending for that spot' or 'failed to rez' errors. Giving up, I log out, then back in, and the demos are gone, utterly. Not in my inventory. My transaction history shows that the money went out, and the demos were in my inventory to start with, just unusable. After a relog, gone.

I've done this about 5 times now - caught onto the fact, but I couldn't see another way to test if it was working yet other than trying again! I've given up now, though. I bet I'll log in in a few days and find 20 identical hair demos in my inventory!

I'm blaming SL, not ETD. It smells like an SL issue. I'm having real trouble teleporting now, and the few sims I've made it to are invisible - I'm just standing above the open sea for five minutes (until I get bored and quit!). But yes - EXACT same problems as you with the hair, and the same place. Are you able to wear the shape at all? Anyone else experiencing it with products from other places?

I want my haaaaaaaaaair!

Yeah, that's EXACTLY my problem ;____;
I've had the same problem with buying skins too at another place, so for now I'm only buying from places where demos work.

I hope somebody can help with this. I've already tried the suggestions that like clearing cache and relogging, and it doesn't fix the problem.

Guess we just wait then - and wait. And wait. And one day we'll have 200+ demos all show up at once and we know it's time to go fork out on that good skin or hair!

I'd try logging in to SL when it's not so busy - once there are 35k+ users online you start getting issues like this (currently - maybe the new version will change that?!?).

Try logging in when you get up in the morning or something. Right now there are 23k users online, so if you went to a quiet sim you might be lucky...

I get that alot..pending for that spot and can't rez...usually if I drop it on the ground and wear it from the ground it works. The skin thing..sorry no idea

For the people with the ETD hair issues, check here...looks like Elika's been having some asset issues on the island.

Hi, I was having the same problem the other day. It was with skin, I bought a skin and wore it. Then I had to log out for another issue. When I logged back in it was no where to be found in the inventory, but I was still wearing it. Eventually I had to take the skin off and have never been able to find it since. And of course I've been having issues with other items from my inventory missing, but never one as odd as this.

Oh goodness, what a nightmare Well, I won't be asking for refunds for my demos! Poor Elika, imagine having to deal with that.

But I will go and try again now Perhaps yeyhair!

Elika's blog says to send her a note. How do I do that? I wrote a note and then dragged it into her Profile where it says "drag and drop items here" but it said "user offline." Am I doing the right thing, or is there a different way to do it?

That's the correct way to do it, yep!

This is correct; the user is offline so they won't see your note immediately, but it was saved in their inventory and should open once they log in again.

Last night what I saw myself wearing didn't tally with what I was 'seen' to wear by others.
Also, a friend had same problem in a dress code area and got ejected when they thought they were conforming
