Hello all. I've been playing the game for a little over a week now. I am having a great time, and would really like to own land. I am a bit confused on how the first land works. I am a premium member, and would like to just have a 512 parcel. Do I just have to keep searching and wait until some "first land" comes up? I do find people selling first land, but for 10,000 lindens and well, I just don't have that  Anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance Jenn |

You have to search for first land constantly, then hope you're the first on there to buy it. LL isn't putting out much first land now, and people are constantly on the look out for it. The original price for first land is $512L. Unfortunately, land barons and other people, snap it up (by creating alts), then sell it off for huge profits. There are many, many threads about land pricing if you care to read all about it. LOL
You didn't need to become a premium member yet. When you purchase your first land, it will automatically upgrade you, so you could have saved a few dollars waiting until you can purchase first land, or any land for the first time.
If you are patient, and search often for land, you will be able to either 1. find first land, or 2. find other land at a reasonable price.
