Hi

i keep getting logged out of SL with a message saying that i am attempting to log in form antoehr location...
this has only started to happen today..
is this happenign to anyone else?

nobody else has my password so i dont understand how anyone could be attempting to log in on my account.

I have no idea if this will work but you might try contacting one of your friends off-line and ask them to send your avatar an IM or pay you $1. I'm thinking if you are stuck in the log-in process somehow it might bump you out. Worth a try anyway...

It really sounds like your account has been hacked. As a precaution I strongly recommend you change your password immediately.

ok.. it seems i was hacked.. my money is gone
i checked accoutn history and have name of who took it etc.. but i know its a bot.... is there anythign i can do about this?

* Then sele ct “ My account has been shut off and I don’t know why”
* Fill in the rest of the fields as directed.
* Copy the Tracking Number for your new ticket

Wow, this is terrible. How does a bot hack a password here? I am familiar with CSS hacks with PHP but, I have been under the assumption that SL must use a very secure server for that info and that if you are using a strong (mixed case, numbers, letters, characters) password another user cannot intercept your access to your account.

If a bot stole your money, it had to then forward it to another account that might try to cash it out. There is probably one person behind this and SL _SHOULD_ take any and all account hacks seriously enough to get to the bottom of them and to follow the linden trail to the culprit. We are talking about real money here, not just the lindens' in someone's account, but the credit card behind those payments...
