Im a little confused on the purchasing of lindens.
Me and a friend of mine recently purshed 10$ worth of lindens each. I had 10$ left and decided that i wanted to use the rest of the money. when i went to pruchase it said there was an error and declined me from buying lindens. I went around trying to figure out why it declined me when i still had 10$ left.
Soon i went to the bank and asked what my remaining amount was to discover there was only 7$ left 3$ magically dissapeared. then i discovered i was being charged by linden labbs for each purchase i made not only that but it charged me 1.00$ on a day i did not purchase anything.
I am not a member y-e-t and i was thinking of being one but these weird things about being charged 3.00$ more then i was told i was going to be charged is making me upset.
Can someone please tell me what this is about?

How many times did you purchase lindens?
There is a 30 cent transaction fee everytime you buy lindens.
So if you and your friend bought lindens on ten seperate occassions = 3 dollars in fees.
Hope that helps.

Im confused
Here:
I bought 10$ worth of lindens for myself I bought 10$ worth of lindens for my friend 30$ in the account - 20$ =10$ minus 0.60$ for transactions fee 9.40$ left according to fee 7.00$ left according to bank
I attempt to buy 10$ worth of lindens for my sister Transactions fails I think maybe im missing a dollar I attempt to buy 9$ still fails i see that i have 7.00$ left and i start getting worried my money is being taken
Could i please have a link showing that they charge 1.00$ each time you set up a credit card with an account?
what im saying is i have only made 2 transactions when i noticed 3.00$ was missing.

The breakdown of your transactions in USD is here: https://www.secondlife.com/account/history.php

yes, check your transaction history.
If that doesn't help I would try the support section, if you think money is missing.

Also alot of companies charge 1 dollar as a temp way to verify. So if you set up 2 accounts with the same card on file that may be it. Normally after a few days the $1 is sent back as a refund.

Also remember that if you are not in the US or using a USD account you may be charged an exchange fee. Me being in Canada I expect that on a $10 USD transaction from my CAD CC I will be charged $10 CAD + the exchange rate + an exchange fee for the total amount. Now if I am not mistaken it is also the vender that charges the exchange fee, in this case LL. I will check on my next CC bill.

I also had two $1.00 charges on my bank statement. I was able to reach LL and they asked if I had recently updated my payment information, which I had. The 1.00 charge is to verify payment information and will be credited back to my account within a few days. Hope this helps.
