Ghost door?

I don't know where to ask this because I'm not sure what's happening. I set up a sliding door to my skybox. (It actually slides the wrong direction, but I thought this was cool so I built some tracks to make it a little more realistic.)

It worked fine for a couple of days, then as of last night my avatar doesn't want to go through the open doorway. It's like I have some kind of threshold anxiety. I checked for invisible objects and there are none. I had the same problem using an alt , so it's not something I'm wearing. The peculiar thing is I can go through the doorway using Shift and the arrow keys, like I'm going through it sideways, but straight on it acts like there's something blocking and the av slowly rises into the air - as you do when you're tryring to scale a 90 degree wall.

So is it that my cache knows the door has moved but the server doesn't? Is this tied in with the TP, Search, $L balance problems and I should wait it out? Thanks. --KC

Ghost prims require a region restart to correct. The next time the sim is restarted (update, rolling restart, etc) the problem should go away.

You can requet a REgion Restart from the Support Ticket portal.

Additionally, you may want to check yoru land for other people's prims. An invisible prim (different from one textured with a "totally clear" texture) doesn't show under the highlight transparent.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

Thank you. I don't think it's enough of an inconvenience to request a restart. I don't know what that would do to the neighbors. I can hold on until the next rolling restart which with the recent technical difficulties should happen again any day now. --KC
