Yes, I've been getting a _lot_ of that today, all across the Help Islands... the new folks couldn't "get the torch" on the OI - so I was getting one after another arriving on the various Help Islands that were upset/dismayed that they couldn't 'finish the level', etc. I had a half dozen or more with that issue.

[18:08] You: I've notfied the Lindens that the torch isn't there.

Legend has it Torley is just an honorary Linden. He works for free and isn't allowed past the locked double doors. That's what I heard anyway.

Wait, if Torley read this, that means that maybe, just maybe, Lindens are aware that their residents are a bit miffed and frustrated about our user experience. Awareness is the first step towards fixing any problem. Woo hoo!

p.s. Hey Torley, ask them to bring back the old color of water. The last time I saw water this blue, there was a Tidybowl man in a boat navigating it.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. When I logged in today the library was back.

Who knows.

One of these days I must experience some major inventory loss. I must be running out of luck at an amazing rate, because I still have not ever lost any inventory (apart from the one thing I accidentally left floating somewhere in the sky over some sandbox, I can't remember which).

Every time I read about inventory loss being such a common experience, I get a little more nervous. Being spared this experience can only mean one thing: when doom finally comes around and finds me, it will strike BAD to make up for all that grace time I got.

Either that or I was just born under a lucky star. :))
