Avatar back to default?

Hmmm, didn't find any topic on this. When I first entered SL some time ago I just chose an avatar apprearance at will to get things started. Since then I tweaked my appearance, but can't seem to get rid of my goofy face.

Is there a way to reset an avatar back to default, IF there is a default anyway?

I don't think there is a specific feature or button to do that. However, if you are extremely determined to return your avatar to default you could make an alternate account. While logged into this new account you could go into edit appearance and take note of the numbers of all the sliders having to do with the avatars head, face, etc.
A much easier thing to do would be to go skin and shape shopping. A good shape will give you a nice body and face all in one click. Here's a site with some shapes; some of them are freebies.

If you look in the Library section of your inventory, there will be a number of default shapes and skins in there. Your newbie avatar was almost certainly one of them.

In your inventory's Library there are several full avatars in the Clothing folder... perhaps one of those is the default avatar you had?
