Sorry, I have a problem after I sold 18.00USD of my linden... I was under the impression it got sent to my creditcard... But it is just sitting on my SL account's US$ section. How do I get it over to my card?

Thanks as always,

Unfortunately, getting it sent to your credit card is not an option. Paypal or check. I still fail to see why they can't put it back to cc when they can take from there, but hey, that's just me...

There is no option to just send it back to the card. and I am having transportation troubles at the moment. That is why I was hoping there was an option to just send it to the CC account

According to the merchant T+Cs of most credit cards, credit payments are only supposed to be issued for purposes of refunds.

Credit card companies want you to *spend* money on your card account, not gain it! ;)

With a credit card, someone pays for you (gives you credit) when you purchase something.

When I buy L$ or anything else with my VISA credit card, my bank account could be totally empty. I may even owe money to the bank (negative balance). Still, the merchant (Linden Lab or anybody else) will get the money.

At a later stage, VISA will ask money from me (as per the contract, they will debit my bank account).

If I have enough money there, we all are good to go. If I don't, then it's an affair between me and VISA.

I suppose that if we go the other way round, a merchant (Linden Lab) would pay the credit card company, not you. Then the credit card company would have to pay you somehow. I suppose that they could credit your bank account, afterall they have the details.

Any other issue aside, this process would cost something. Software to process the transactions, hardware, human resources. For sure you would have to pay extra fees for the service and anyway this is not the purpose of a credit card. A credit card is not a bank account.

Linden Lab could just credit your bank account, but they don't offer that as an option. So there's PayPal. You provide them with your bank account details and they credit you, for a fee.

This is how I see it...
