I am selling my business that I have had running in SL now for some time. All of it. It generates alot of imcome to the point that its become a second income for me but due to some medical problems in RL and time I have no choice but to sell. I was wondering... What is the best way to do this? I have listed it in the forums and stuff but I was even wondering about E-Bay? Anyone ever sold their business that they could give me some advise?

How much do you think it's worth? I think that would be the first step.

Another avenue could be to auction it on SL Exchange. You can set a reserve price.

Good idea. Never thought of doing the auction on there. Its a prefab business. I do only nightclub / bar prefabs, lighting and everything you would want with a nightclub. I really hate to give it up but my SL days are limited due to tendinitus in my right arm. :-)

Got it rather bad and I work on computers in RL on my job so I have to limit it as much as possible which means I have to give this up.

Thanks

u could install a trustworthy manage wich would get a cut so u can keep making money while he does the wrok

say he gets 80% but has to get the items from u so u know exactly what is sold and to who and can set the split right as they pay u and u pay him

just an idea

VooDoo- I've got RSI myself & when it gets painful enough, I use a lil' program called "Joystick To Mouse". It's free, and allows you to map keyboard functions to a Joystick- the more buttons the more you can do.

I use it quite often. Gotten pretty darn good at it! Even Left-Handed!

Plus the addition of voice will help, so I dont have to type out lengthy conversations now. I can just Say it!

Also you may want to try a vertical mouse like evoluent: www.evoluent.com. I've had a lot less tension and pain in my arms since using it.

I suspect with the coming apocalypse and the fact that the mark of the beast^wintegrity will soon be upon us, the value of anything even vaguely adult-related may be about to collapse.

None of my stuff is adult stuff. Its all prefabs for nightclubs and lighting. Well must be doing it right, people are bidding. I listed it under the company site www.voodoo-designs.com. Thanks for the arm info. I will try that out. I can't just stop using a computer :-(
