Any good experience with new SL version?

I've read so many negative things about the new update that I'm afraid to download it. Has anyone had a good experience? If so, do you have to have a "Mac Daddy" computer to run it properly or does it not exhaust any extra by way of resources?

Except for the issue with particles becoming less dense over time and an apparent memory leak, it seems to be stable enough for me. No crashes so far.

CPU: Not supported (1829 Mhz) - Centrino Duo
Memory: 2047 MB
OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce Go 7600/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL Version: 2.0.1

Although I was having repeated crashes initially, someone suggested I update the drivers on my videocard and now SL works fine. Not noticeably better than before admittedly, but no new problems.

Works good for me, but I've got an nvidia graphics card and 2 gigs of RAM. Those 2 things seem to be very important in order to have a good SL experience.

I've had a good experience so far with 1.14, though I see both occasional crashes and memory leaks as facts of life (like mosquitoes).

I've been on the latest optional version since it came out. I have noticed that when I have streaming music turned on, CPU usage slowly creaps up from the usual 50% to 100%, then things get really slow and stuttery. When I turn off streaming music, it resets the CPU usage.

Today I noticed that particles were suddenly almost nonexistant, not a gradual decline but a sudden stop.

FWIW I'm on the Mac client. Other than those two things, I have not had any trouble with the new version.
