I cant get in world from my computer at work But I can see my friends are there from "my account" here at secondlife.com. Is there anyway I can IM them in world without being in world myself?

If you have IM sent to email, you can reply to any IMs sent to you (I think for three days), that's about it though.

The folks at LibSL are working on an IM chat client I've heard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_life Throughout 2006 the built-in instant messaging system will be replaced with Jabber[10] No idea if that's LibSL or not. |
